Wedding Information
Welcome friends and family for this special event. We hope to facilitate details relating to the wedding weekend with this page.
The Old Church is an historic Portland building. It is a landmark that hosts concerts, weddings, lectures, etc. Their website has a link to Andrew's website as the photo on his home page was taken at a recital he gave at the Old Church. Below is a Google map for the area. There is street parking and several lots within a block or two. The church is at the intersection of SW Clay and SW 11th.
Registry: Andrew and Diana have registered at Gaiam under , Macy's, and amazon.com (Gaiam needs a site update, and therefore needs you to enter her NEW shipping address: 3131 Timmons Lane #106, Houston, TX 77027).
Accomodations: A lot of the Owens clan will be staying at the Shilo Inn in Beaverton. The Dunn clan that will overflow the Dunn home will be at Brittania at Terwilliger Vista, MacMaster House B&B, and The Westin (Benson).
Portland: The Heathman website has an excellent rundown on the places to go in Portland while you are visiting. Things to do. Just remember that the roses should be in full bloom at the Rose Garden. (Beware, our new basketball stadium is also called the "Rose Garden" arena.) Also, there is a terrific walk along the river. One can make a loop using the Hawthorne Bridge and the Steel Bridge. Powell's Books on 10th and Burnside is always a favorite. Be sure to pick up one of their free maps of downtown Portland at the cashier's desks. We have annotated the below map.
